10 Personal Finance YouTube Channels You Should Be Watching

Okay, I know I talk quite a bit about making the most of your time, but even I'm a victim of the YouTube death spiral on occasion. You know what I'm talking about – you launch the app expecting to watch one video and the next thing you know, you've watched your 18th video in a row, and it's on a totally different subject.

Well, YouTube isn't necessarily a bad thing, in fact, it's the second largest search engine. That means that there is a ton of valuable content that can be found on that site.

There are so many valuable personal finance resources available. I've already talked about my favorite books, blogs, and podcasts. But what about YouTube?

As it turns out, there are plenty of incredible personal finance YouTube channels that cover a variety of financial topics, from real estate investing to passive income streams to early retirement.

Here are 10 personal finance YouTube channels you should be watching.

1. Bigger Pockets

The Bigger Pockets website is a well-known resource for real estate investors, but did you know they also have a YouTube channel where their in-house experts discuss topics related to real estate investing?

From analyzing deals to managing your properties, they offer tons of helpful advice and instruction. They also upload video recordings of their podcast episodes, which is great for those who prefer visuals.

2. Graham Stephan

Graham Stephan is a 28-year-old real estate investor who skipped college to start pursuing real estate and become a millionaire by the tender age of 26.

In his self-titled YouTube channel, he shares his story, his successes, and everything he’s learned in his ten years of real estate investing. Though many of his videos seem to have a younger bent, his practical investing advice is applicable to investors of any age.

3. Joe Fairless

Joe Fairless has an extremely popular podcast, that I happened to be on recently. He also has a YouTube channel that contains a ton of valuable content on real estate investing. He focuses mainly on passive real estate investing like syndications. It tends to cater a bit more to the professional vs the individual investor but anyone can get a lot out of it.

4. The Financial Diet

The Financial Diet, like Graham Stephan, is another popular YouTube channel for the younger/millennial generation. However, viewers of any age can learn from their fun, accessible videos.

They cover topics not only pertaining to investing, but also to mindset, lifestyle, and wellness–all with the goal of helping you increase your productivity and save money.

5. The White Coat Investor

I'm sure most of you are already familiar with Dr. Jim Dahle who blogs at The White Coat Investor. However, just in case you're not, he's the most well-known name in physician finance and now has a YouTube channel. He sprinkles in recordings of his podcast along with other video interviews on his channel to bring practical financial advice to people who could definitely benefit from it.

6. Wealth Hacker with Jeff Rose

Jeff Rose of Wealth Hacker focuses on building wealth through passive income and investing, showing people how financial freedom can be achieved in ways they had never been taught before.

He takes a “think like a millionaire” approach and examines the sorts of things millionaires do, or did, to stay wealthy. He also shares tips on mindset and productivity, money hacks, and money mistakes to avoid.

7. BeatTheBush

BeatTheBush is a YouTube channel that focuses on credit cards, early retirement, and personal finance basics. He also makes videos about budgeting, money hacks, and lifestyle tips, sharing his experiences as an early retiree.

In his bio, he explains that “Beat The Bush” is the opposite of the old expression “beat around the bush,” which means avoiding the point. He definitely lives up to the name by offering no-nonsense advice.

8. His and Her Money

The His and Her Money channel is hosted by Talaat and Tai McNeely, who are well-renowned for their money and marriage expertise.

Their channel focuses on building power couples, so it’s a great resource for married couples, though anyone can learn from their personal finance advice.

They cover topics such as getting out of debt, building wealth, budgeting, side hustles, and marriage tips. They also share the success stories of people from all walks of life, which is always inspiring.

9. Grant Cardone

There's a reason why Grant Cardone has over a million subscribers to his YouTube channel. He's not afraid to be a bit controversial and speak his truth. I actually tend to agree with a lot of what he says. It's part entertainment, a part great resource. He's created quite the empire using real estate investing and isn't apologetic about it. REtipster is the companion YouTube channel to the REtipster Blog, and both the blog and the channel focus on topics pertinent to real estate investing, from property research to building an online platform to land investing.

He covers a lot of unique facets of the real estate investing world that you might not usually find, making this channel a valuable resource for investors.
