Here's Journal Club 4/02/21! Every week, I hold a JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I present a few that impacted my life this week. Be safe and stay well!

  • Investing in dividend stocks seems like a pretty good idea at first. But is it? That’s the question The White Coat Investor addresses in this post. As with anything, there are two sides to every coin–and in this case, it’s worth seeing both of them.
  • What does age have to do with real estate investing? Well, as with anything in life, many people believe (whether they realize it or not) that at a certain point, real estate is a “younger person’s game.” In this post, Financial Success MD breaks down that myth, and points out that financial freedom is a fantastic thing–no matter how old you are.
  • Right now, a lot of people are thinking about “the bubble” bursting. But what do tulips, beanie babies, and real estate. Well, after reading this post from XRAYVSN, it’s definitely more than I thought, and as it turns out, they can help us think about the modern economy in some interesting ways.
  • Talking about the concepts behind real estate investing is great, but sometimes it’s also good to get into the nuts and bolts. In this post from Bigger Pockets, the author lists several ways landlord can utilize modern technology to make their lives, and the lives of their tenants, a lot easier. That’s it for this week! I hope Journal Club 4/2/21 was helpful to you.Lastly, here's a little bit of motivation below. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
