Here's Journal Club 6-19-20! Every week, I hold a JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I present a few that impacted my life this week. Be safe and stay well!

• Finding extra ways to make some side cash is always a good thing, and it can even be the source of some fun, too. Many physicians earn several hundred dollars – some even earn thousands – completing medical surveys online. The Physician on FIRE shares a list of medical survey companies that pay cash and allow you to earn a 1099 income. Check it out! 

• The pandemic has raised many money-related questions. One thing you might've wondered is how much you should be tipping, especially in the service industry. Well, Anjali Jariwala from FIT Advisors answers all of your money etiquette questions, including tipping during the pandemic, in one of her recent blogs. Take a look! 

• There's a big difference between earning income and owning income streams that work for you. Four Pillar Freedom shares his experience with learning this lesson, and how he's grown his income streams to start earning income, even when he's not investing a lot of time and attention to those streams. He even shares his current income stack.

• As physicians, we have a responsibility to support our communities not only inside the hospital, but outside of the hospital as well. Dr. Dave Draghinas of the Doctors Unbound Podcast recently interviewed Dr. Goines and Dr. Gibson to discuss how they're positively impacting the next generation of STEM leaders – many of whom might become the next generation of physicians, too!
