Here's Journal Club 8/13/21! Every week, I hold a JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I present a few that impacted my life this week. Be safe and stay well!
- If you're familiar with Blooom, you know that they talk a great deal about retirement and 401k plans. But did you know they can help you wipe out your student loan debt so you can focus on saving and investing for your future? Like millions of Americans, if you're overwhelmed with your student loan debt and clueless about where to begin, then check out this article, Faking your death to pay off your student loan debt? 6 better ways on Blooom.
- Have you heard the term Real Estate Cycles? Most economists will agree that real estate markets move through 18-year cycles. Years ago, a professor at San Jose University predicted a major bust around 2008, and that's when the Great Recession happened. At the time, most people were caught off guard, but experts believe that by observing real estate cycles, it's possible to predict the next housing bubble. More importantly, it’s possible to continue to invest in real estate through all its phases. To learn more about real estate cycles, read the article, Understanding Real Estate Cycles & Factors That Affect Them on Roofstock.
- Like many, if your end goal is to become a millionaire by leveraging the power of real estate, then you're on the right track. But according to author Brian Davis on R.E.Tipster, “there's a wide gap between starting out as a real estate investor and becoming a millionaire.” Interested in learning how to bridge that gap? Then read this article, 4 Keys to Becoming a Millionaire Real Estate Investor.
- Are you on the lookout for your dream home or perhaps the next one or planning a big move in search of new opportunities? Whatever the reason, I think it's beneficial to learn about the fastest-growing economies to take advantage of low housing costs and proximity to major cities. Here's an article, The Top 10 Fastest-Growing Cities in America by SoFi, to help you get started.
That's all for this week. I hope this week's journal club was helpful.
