Here's Journal Club 1/14/22! Every week, I hold a JOURNAL CLUB. After filtering through the articles on the web, I present a few that impacted my life this week. Be safe and stay well!

  • There's no denying that investing in long-term rental properties is a great way to make money, but there's a common misconception around the idea that causes the risks to appear bigger than they actually are. For that reason, the author of Invest Four More debunks some of the myths and encourages investing the right way in the article – How Risky Is Investing In Rental Properties?
  • When talking about FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early), there's an overabundance of information or ideas on the subject. But most of these are someone else's ideas and plans that may not work for you. The author of Fire and Wide explains that the journey to financial independence is unique for everyone, and you must take the time to figure out what's right for you. So, to help you get started, the author shares key points in the article – Playing The FIRE Triangle.
  • If the feeling of never-ending stress created by your clinical work is pushing you to the point where you're considering quitting your medical practice, then the author over at Kevin MD shares a relatable story in the article – Leaving clinical medicine without regrets, where the author talks about overcoming those challenging times by finding an alternative path to leading a more fulfilling life.

That's all for this week! I hope this week's journal club was helpful.
