Episode Breakdown
What Started Passive Income MD (PIMD)
Peter kicks off the episode by sharing how Passive Income MD (PIMD) started as his personal journey to finding ways to make money passively. He was looking for ways to invest and create income outside of his job. At first, he began telling friends and coworkers about his real estate investments and the lessons he was learning.
Encouraged by their interest, Peter decided to start a blog in 2016, even though he wasn’t confident in his writing. Despite his doubts, the blog started gaining attention, especially from doctors who were also looking for ways to achieve financial freedom.
Peter’s thought was simple but powerful: working more hours as a doctor doesn’t always lead to a fulfilling life. Real estate gave him a way out of that cycle of trading time for money, and sharing his experiences helped others see the same opportunity.
Passive Real Estate Academy (PREA)
As Peter’s blog grew, he realized that his audience needed more than just stories—they wanted guidance. That’s when he decided to create the Passive Real Estate Academy. This course was designed to teach doctors how to invest in real estate without having to deal with the stress of being landlords.
Peter didn’t stop there—he added a coaching component to the Academy, where doctors could get personalized help on how to make their investments work best for them. Peter believes that it’s not just about learning new things but about giving doctors the tools to take control of their financial futures. The Academy quickly became more than just a course—it turned into a supportive community where people could share their experiences and learn from each other.
The Physician Real Estate and Entrepreneurship Conference (PIMDCON)
With the Academy growing and people wanting to connect more, Peter knew it was time to bring the PIMD community together in person. That’s when PIMDCON started—an annual conference where doctors can come together and learn how to create their ideal lives through real estate and entrepreneurship.
Peter explains that this conference is different from the usual medical events. It’s not just about real estate; it’s about helping doctors build the life they really want. PIMDCON has become a place where people share ideas, find inspiration, and connect with others on the same journey. Peter shares how attendees often come back and tell him that meeting someone at PIMDCON changed everything for them. It’s about balancing career growth and personal happiness, and it can even offer CME credits for those who want to keep learning in their profession.
Leverage and Growth: Accelerator and Summit (LGA & LGS)
As the community continued to grow, Peter saw an even bigger opportunity: helping doctors expand into entrepreneurship. That’s why he created the Leverage and Growth Summit, a virtual event that shows doctors how to use their skills to build businesses outside of medicine. Whether it’s starting a coaching business or creating a product, the Summit opens up new possibilities for doctors who want to try something different.
Peter believes that doctors are capable of doing anything—they’ve already shown they’re hardworking and creative. This led to the creation of the Leverage and Growth Accelerator, a follow-up community that gives doctors the resources, support, and mindset needed to build their own businesses. The goal is to encourage doctors to follow their passions and create businesses that work for them.
Momentum MD Mastermind (MMD)
Finally, Peter talks about Momentum MD, a special mastermind group for the most dedicated members of the PIMD community. This group is small, only about 20-30 people, so everyone gets the chance for deep support and real growth. Peter calls it “the Navy Seals” of PIMD because it’s exclusive, and the people in it are serious about making big changes in their lives.
Momentum MD isn’t just about learning new things—it’s about creating a space where doctors can get together, share their ideas, and support each other. Peter loves being part of this group, saying that watching the members grow and succeed is one of the most rewarding parts of his work. It’s all about building strong connections and learning from one another, and it shows just how powerful the PIMD community can be when doctors come together.
